Wikipedia Search
Description
This project formed part of my course work for the FCC Front-End developer certification. It enables the user to search wikipedia or obtain an random article.
Technical
The site uses the Semantic-UI framework and demonstrates the use of the Wikipedia API to obtain article extracts, images and the url for a particular image to display with the results.
TwitchTV Monitor
Description
This project formed part of my course work for the FCC Front-End developer certification. It enables the user to monitor the status of channels on TwitchTV.
Technical
The site uses the Semantic-UI framework and demonstrates the use of the TwitchTV API to obtaian the data needed to build the site. The site makes extensive use of the underscore.js templating features to build the page content.
Tribute Website
Description
This project formed part of my course work for the FCC Front-End developer certification. It is a simple single page tribute site.
Technical
The site uses the Semantic-UI framework and demonstrates the use of basic grids and typography.
Portfolio Website
Description
This is my portfolio site, the one you are visiting right now! It's purpose is to demonstrate my knowledge and capabilities in repect of front end coding.
Technical
The site uses the Semantic-UI and fullpage.js for scrolling. Behind the sceens the site loads the portfolio details from json files and uses backbone.js templates to render the data.
